Herb's 90th(!) Birthday

Chris asked me to make a cake for her dads birthday party. When I asked what he likes she said "well, he is turning 90, he lives in Florida, and he plays golf." She didn't say "played", she said "plays"....sheesh, he deserves more than a cake...but I was honored to make him a special cake for his 90th birthday.

Also, I had to go out and buy a new icing tip for this cake. And I never thought I would say this, but I LOVE the icing grass tip! I was a little skeptical, and I generally prefer classic and elegant, but theme occasion cakes can be really fun. I can't wait to make a "furry" muppet cake!
