Christy and Nate's Wedding

Christy and Nate are so cute.

A couple after my own heart: barefoot, even in the Fall.
You know what that look means....
SMASH!

They are so right for each other.
Congrats Christy and Nate! I am so excited for you!

Trey and Emily's Wedding

Trey and Emily's wedding made me love winter weddings. Trey and Emily, Bethany (Trey's mom), and lots of other people, worked very hard filling the reception site with silvers, and blues, and whites and snowflakes, and they achieved an elegant and fun environment.

I contributed about 300 of those snowflakes. And 250 blue, white and silver cupcakes.

In case you didn't know, two hundred and fifty is a lot of cupcakes!

I was pretty happy with how they turned out. And now, I need a nap.

Shawn and Tammy's Wedding

Shawn and Tammy saw one of my cakes on my husbands blog, and asked to see more. When Tammy saw the cake I had done for Tye and Andrea she knew that was what she wanted...it would be perfect for her Fall wedding, especially because the bridesmaids dresses were brown with white polka dots.

Tammy was right. It was perfect. This was a really work intensive cake, but it was so worth it.
I am blessed to have been a part of such a beautiful wedding and fun, guest centered reception.

Lindsey's Wedding

Lindsey said "Leaves, beyond that, I am not picky, do whatever you want"

Marshmallow Fondant leaves. I got to learn something new. I had fun.
Lindsey's wedding was incredibly beautiful, by the way. She did "Fall wedding" very well, elegant and festive.

Angel's Wedding Cake

Turns out that Angel was planning to make her own wedding cake, had no supplies, and had no idea what to do (not to mention that brides are very busy people). So I had the pleasure of spending several hours with Angel, lending her supplies, and assisting her. She did a great job. I am blessed to have gotten to help, and to have been a guest at a wedding after my own heart (outside, in the rain).

Luau Wedding

Bethany handed me a stack of pictures from her exhaustive search. She said, "I want it to be fun and memorable," and "I really want this one (pointing to the picture on top), but I like the others too, if this one isn't possible."

So, I made "this one"! And it was definitely fun and memorable, as was every detail of Bethany and Ed's wedding. They are a wonderfully fun couple.

Tye and Andrea's Wedding Cake

Tye is one of my husband's best friends (since they were 5, I think). They knew I made my wedding cake. So, a few years later, they asked if I would do their wedding cake. My first non-family cake.
Their wedding was amazing and beautiful. And I had the privilege of doing their cake, at Music Hall, none the less.
